The Mission of Classic Design & Décor, LLC is to be a leader in the constant effort to be armed with the skills, knowledge, concepts and tactics needed to effectively be the most “enlightened” design firm. We will work daily promoting high standards of excellence in kitchen and bath designs; multifaceted, unique, innovative design solutions. Weather the current project demands the latest design trends or the most classic time less design we will work relentlessly for the perfect finish; while only presenting vendors equally dedicated to high standards in craftsmanship, quality, sustainable and ecological consciousness. The measure of our success will be a “quadruple bottom line”, people (our clients), projects (accomplished design goals), planet (mindful of our ecological impact) and profit. Finally, being mindful of the concept of local living economies we to are responsible for giving back; we will work with Foundation Communities, A Legacy of Giving and Life Works here in Austin in an effort to make a difference with those in need.

Located in Central Austin’s Back Door To The Trade Design Center, de’Cucina is open exclusively to decorators, designers, architects and builders. Back Door To The Trade, which features six complimentary showrooms, is Austin’s only design center open strictly to the trade.

Our Founder:

Founder De Humphries brings a unique background to her work in the design field. She is a member of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID) and the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) as well as a Registered Nurse who spent over 17 years in health care. De, who has ten years of coast-to-coast design experience, has been recognized by ASID as a Design Excellence award winner. She puts as much emphasis on functionality and safety as she does esthetics. As most accidents in the home occur in the kitchen and bathroom, one of De’s goals is to offer designs and products that reduce the likelihood of these preventable accidents.

De focuses on building trust with designers, architects and builders, and ensures that all of the products and services that leave the showroom exceed the standard of expectation. She works closely with clients, tailoring services to meet the individual project. De and her staff conduct an in-depth consultation with each client to establish project goals, special needs and budgets for these turnkey projects.
